Dr Inbarani Naidoo Position is a senior research specialist at the Social Aspect of Public Health programme (SAPH) at the Human Science research Council (HSRC). He hold a BSc (Biological Sciences) , BSc Honours (School of Life Science and Environmental Sciences), MSc in epidemiology, statistics, geographic information systems, public health all from the University of Kwazulu-Natal and a PhD of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine from the University of London; spatial epidemiology. His general research interests are public health and epidemiology. His research includes spatial and temporal applications in disease mapping, systematic reviews and integrated bio-behavioural surveys. He is also interested in incorporating ?big data? in his work. He has a special interest in the health and well-being of women and children. Skill capability in Stata, GIS, Science writing and working on Big data applications.
