Stewart Ngandu has been appointed as a member of the Higher Education & Research Chamber of the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA).
He will serve a term of office till 2025. SETA Chambers are stakeholder structures which serve as advisory structures to the Executive Management of the ETDP SETA in carrying out the mandate of the organisation, which includes among others:
- assisting the Accounting Authority to ensure inputs into the Sector Skills Plan
- identifying education and training needs of the Higher Education and Research Sector in SA
- advising on monitoring and quality assuring criteria for training
- monitoring the development and implementation of learning programmes as well as other training.
