Tuesday 19 February 2019 - The HSRC, in collaboration with the DST, hosted an IID Policy Seminar on Research Impact Assessment in the Social Sciences and Humanities: Implications for Inclusive Development.

The one day Seminar which was held at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria probed the impact of Social Sciences and Humanities research on policy. Various Stakeholders from government, public and private research institutions participated in a robust debate following fascinating presentations and panel session.

The Seminar deliberated the impact of social sciences and humanities research on policy and the discussion was framed within the Open Science arena. It took the format of a robust debate which culminated in the panel discussion.
