The Human Sciences Research Council in partnership with the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine early in 2020 conducted a study looking at the impact of COVID-19 on health workers. The survey conducted was aimed to ascertain the impact COVID-19 on South African health workers both physically and emotionally.
