Support for Ramaphosa's handling of Covid-19 drops to 61%

As the country moved to lower lockdown levels, support for President Cyril Ramaphosa’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic response has been falling, from a high of 85% to 61% - a level similar to his popularity pre-Covid.

This was among the findings shared at a webinar this week, based on the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) online multilingual Covid-19 Democracy Survey.
