Abstract
Third Face-to-face meeting of OECD Global Science Forum Expert Group ???Research Ethics and New Forms of Data for Social and Economic Research???:
Preparation of first draft of report of Expert Group:
Refinement of chapter outlay, presentations on assignments by expert group members, discussion on first draft chapters as edited by chair and co-chair.
Preparations for forthcoming meetings: November (Paris, France) and February/March 2016 (Chicago, USA ??? will also involve a conference).
Members of the Expert Group will also attend WSSF2015. On 16 September, five members of the Expert Group will lead a panel discussion entitled, ???Big Data: Challenges for the social sciences??? which forms part of the WSSF2015 programme.
Six post-graduate students of the University of Limpopo, who are supervised by Professor ???Maseka Lesaoana, one of the members of the Expert Group, will also be sponsored to attend the WSSF2015 and participate in panel discussions. They will also be guests at the dinner hosted by DST on 16 September.
