Abstract

The aim of this project is to study and evaluate the quality and performance of Christel Houses' academic and non-academic programs compared to other schools in South Africa. Established in 2002, CHSA serves over 1000 children in Cape Town from areas such as Langa, Hanover Park, Joe Slovo, Bokmakeierie, Pook-Se-Bos, Delft and similar areas. CHSA provides these children with education, nutrition, health care, life skills and a nurturing environment to enable them to break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient, productive members of society.
