Abstract

University lecturer strategy use to introduce and explain STEM terminology in EMI contexts: an exploratory comparative study of China, Turkey, South Africa and Nepal. This project aims to extend our understanding of the strategies English Medium Instruction (EMI) lecturers of different gender employ to teach central concepts in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) lectures.
