Abstract

To produce a second series of podcast on barriers to youth livelihoods based on stories from the Presidential Youth Employment Stimulus (PYES) in South Africa. The PYES was launched in October 2020 as part of the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan (ERRP) by President Cyril Ramaphosa, with the aim of utilizing public funding to create jobs and support livelihoods while the labor market is recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
