DPME Technical Support for the 25-Year Review - Chapter on Skills (Outcome 5)
Abstract
As summarised in the Terms of Reference (TOR) and the technical support document the overarching objective of the review is to provide technical support to the DPME in reviewing the Skills Chapter of the 25-Year Review of democratic governance in South Africa.
Specific objectives include:
Provide technical support to the DPME to conduct a comprehensive 25-Year Review of Skills Development in South Africa.
Examine the evidence base of the review to ensure that it is sound, solid, comprehensive and incontrovertible.
Critically review and analyse the skills chapter of the 25-Year Review provided by the DPME and provide feedback to the DPME while strengthening the content of the draft chapter.
Ensure that the chapter has structural integrity and conform to the required format.
Ensure that data has been sourced comprehensively and validated against credible data sources.
