Abstract

The purpose of the project is to understand the current adverse event reporting practices in MDR-TB treatment facilities in South Africa.Develop appropriate interventions where needed. Objectives Determine if policies pertaining to pharmacovigilance or adverse event reporting are available in various facilities; Understand experiences of healthcare professionals in adverse event reporting; Understand the successes and challenges involved in adverse event reporting; Analyze recording of adverse events in medical records; and Identify stakeholders supporting pharmacovigilance activities (training, mentorship, data collection
