Abstract

The Knowledge Hub aims at facilitating knowledge uptake for the achievement of regional development, greater social inclusion and equality for all. The Hub grows out of the School???s Out project and was conceptualised after multiple engagements with stakeholders including the United Nations and civil society organisations across the continent. These conversations foregrounded the current gap in the coordination of knowledge production, translation, dissemination and uptake for advocacy and policy impact across Southern Africa. Subsequently, UNESCO provided seed funding to the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC)
