Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the extent and nature of GBV in South Africa, including previously underrepresented forms of violence. The findings will aid in refining interventions, resource allocation, and policy measures to address the multi-dimensional impact of GBV. The study also intends to offer insights into the intersection of GBV and the Covid-19 pandemic, guiding responses to crises that exacerbate vulnerabilities.
