NRF - Gender Summit Travel Support
Abstract
,Partnership Agreement between NRF and PHSB whereby NRF will make available R99,000 to PHSB, to support travel for three (3) participants from science granting councils (Malawi, Kenya, and Namibia) to participate in the Gender Summit to be held in Accra, Ghana 8 10 June 2023.
2. For the HSRC to coordinate and cover the travel and participation costs of the three (3) Council
participants and invoice the NRF following the event for reimbursement. This includes cost
incurred for return flights (cheapest economy option), 3-night accommodation at Labadi Beach
Hotel, ground transportation, visa cost and subsistence for dinner, all-inclusive cost estimated
at R33, 000 (Thirty-three thousand Rands per person)
3. Therefore, total funding amount to be reimbursed to HSRC under this Partnership Agreement,
will not exceed R99, 000.
4. This Funding Agreement does not affect any terms of the Principal Agreement referred to and
the contents of the Principal Agreement between the Parties will remain in force and effect.
5. The terms of this Partnership Agreement will be effective from the date of signature.
