Abstract

The overall aim of the project is to develop a national strategic plan to end GBV based on t a situational analysis of the nature of involvement of key stakeholders engaged in combating gender-based violence (GBV). To this end, the following objectives shall be set: Analyse pertinent documents and archival records related to gender-based violence as well as databases; Interview key stakeholders and informants, including: girls and boys, educators, men and women in the community, community leaders, women group leaders, members of civil societies, private sector, relevant government officials and development partners engaged in combating GBV; Compile a research report based on the situational analysis (cf. (ii)); Facilitate a stakeholders??? workshop to disseminate key findings of the situational analysis.
