Abstract

To trace all datasets pertaining to elections done by the HSRC on behalf of the Electoral Commission since 1999 To create a single dataset which combines all questions from the various surveys; To data mine and analyse all common questions over the years and determine trends and patterns over time; To determine which of these common questions can be used as benchmark indicators To produce a glossy booklet with national trends as well as provincial statistical briefs which showcase trends of key indicators over time (similar to the Presidency???s Development Indicators series); To produce a descriptive report analyzing trends over time and the implication for democratization; To curate all datasets, questionnaires, training materials or any other material associated with the surveys.
