RESEARCH OUTPUTS: The impact of civic engagement programmes on youth

Abstract

The purpose of the project is for the development of a questionnaire to be used to survey a sample of 10 000 learners in a representative sample of South African schools. The proposed study in its entirety seeks to investigate the extent to which exposure to the Life Orientation programme in high schools in South Africa has had an ongoing impact on the lives of learners as they progress through the Further Education and Training phase and beyond, into their Post-school destinations.
