Abstract

To support the development and implementation of key health systems policies and programmes in South Africa, such as the NHI, the project will map existing evidence in this field to ???illustrate clearly the current size and nature of the evidence base??? as defined in the 2016 DPME Departmental Guidance Note . Importantly, this means that the project will not aim to synthesise the evidence or provide policy recommendations based on evidence findings.
