DMV: Needs Assessment amongst Military Veterans of the RSA, and their Dependent's

Abstract

PHASE 1 1. Survey of relevant reports, legislation, and literature on MVs. 2. In-depth interviews (5 to 10) with key members of DMV and MV associations. 3. Focus Group Discussions (4) with (i) MVs and (ii) MVDs. Two FGDs in urban Gauteng and two in rural areas or small towns, with a representation of both female and male MVs and including MK and APLA. 4. Phase One report will summarise the findings and inform the quantitative survey to be conducted during Phase 2. PHASE 2 Phase Two will comprise a survey of a quantitatively representative national sample survey of MVs and MVDs.
