Abstract

Effective funding approaches and instruments to invest in innovation in Sustainable Agriculture Intensification (SAI). The objectives of the study, are to: 1. Categorize, tabulate, and summarize the state of evidence on how well different investment approaches and instruments to promote innovation have supported the multiple objectives of SAI and drawing, to the extent possible, on lessons from other sectors and the Global North. 2. Develop lessons and guidance based on this evidence to help innovators and investors make choices about funding approaches and instruments to support SAI innovation.
