Abstract

The key objective of conducting the desktop review on Violence Against Children (VAC) in South Africa for 2020 is to explore and synthesize the variety of research findings from different institutions of data collection and scope the trends and levels of violence against children in the country. The exploration and synthesis of the research findings will be conducted using the following approaches: ?? Conducting a desktop review of research undertakings on VAC, ?? Compiling a Technical Synthesis Report that will provide South Africa with baseline information on the level and extent of violence against children in its various forms, ?? To produce a child friendly version (simplified version) to complement the Technical Synthesis Report
