Abstract

research project to assess public opinion relating the matters of relevance to the operational effectiveness of the IRSA. More specifically, the IRSA wishes to establish the extent of public awareness of the right to access information from both public and private entities, the rights to privacy and protection of personal information, and of the rights of recourse related the provisions of the Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000 (PAIA) and Protection of Personal Information Act of 2013 (POPIA). The IRSA also wishes to determine current levels of awareness of the existence of the IRSA, and its mandate, role and responsibilities.
