Abstract
The loveLife team introduced the concept of an exercise intervention, specifically an extreme sport intervention, to reduce drug use and abuse among the youth in these targeted communities. In the initial meeting, Prof Naidoo made suggestions about the importance of the proposed project being located within a scientific framework and provided the team with possible research design scenarios. It was agreed that Prof Naidoo and her HSRC team will lead the proposed project, albeit an ???exploratory one???, with loveLife as a partner and funder.
