Reuse of the 2012/13 surplus from the HSD Seminars

Abstract

As an additional feature of the project on the HSD seminar series (Government Cluster Policy Workshops and Science Seminars) it is proposed in the 2013/14 financial year to develop work streams and associated knowledge products that focus on generating tangible outputs of the Government Cluster Policy Workshops and Science Seminars. These knowledge products will be being developed with a view to enhancing the impact of the first phase of the HSD Seminar Series and to develop new features for the second phase of the project. The overall objective of the knowledge products is to enhance the utility of the dialogues/exchanges in the workshops and seminars for policy makers. In furtherance of this objective a range of new work streams and knowledge products (policy briefs, rapid response policy notes, technical reports and summative booklets) are proposed.
