Abstract

There is a direct and urgent need to produce an HSRC Indicator Dashboard populated with HSRC produced survey data, as collated by Data Curation. This dashboard should provide the following facilities: (1) access to a summary indicator dashboard which maps selected HSRC survey questions to SDG Indicators, MTSF Outcomes and the HSRC strategic plan???s focal points and (2) provide HSRC researchers with a data analysis tool to browse granular data to identify trends. As an initial Proof of Concept (POC), the chosen priority area follows from the MTSF Outcome 9 - A Responsive, accountable, effective and efficient local government, with a specific focus on available HSRC data which measures various factors pertaining to Access to Basic Services.
