Abstract

Comprehensive research report investigating prevailing forms of stigma and prejudices against the Khoi and San Communities. The research is envisaged to have an in depth analysis of these prejudice and stigma in to find their basis and ascertain if they can be justified. Part of assessing these prejudice and stigma will require HSRC to study and review the SAHRC Report, South African legislation to ascertain representation of Khoi San People, UNDRIP assertions to establish if South Africa does live by those declarations, literature will inform of us the Khoi and San People in South Africa and internationally. This will assist DTA in fulfilling its mandate as directed by SAHRC. Outputs of the study will be shared with DTA stakeholders. The deliverables of the assignment are: i. Research Proposal with data collection tools ii. 1st Draft Research Report iii. 2nd Draft research report. iv. Final Research Report
