Abstract

The objectives of the collaboration between the SAHRC and the HSRC on the human rights research reports are as follows: Objective 1: To draw on the expertise and research capacity of the HSRC in the development of a programme of work for the SAHRC on the human rights and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, particularly with respect to: designing the programme for a workshop on Human Rights and the Fourth Industrial Revolution to be held in Johannesburg on the 5th and 6th of March 2020; and the development of a research report emanating from the workshop. Objective 2: To develop an ongoing relationship between the SAHRC and the HSRC, in order to both support the fulfilment of the mandates of both institutions, and to work towards the transformation of South African society in accordance with the Constitution
