Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the psychosocial consequences and coping strategies among accident victims in South Africa. Findings have relevant implications for the development of coping strategies to aid victims of road traffic accidents in dealing with trauma in this African context, which may differ to those in Western countries.-
