Abstract

This chapter provides an assessment of how well existing HIV policies and programmes meet the need of same-sex practising individuals and is based primarily on a review of relevant literature. For the purposes of this chapter, same-sex practising individuals include lesbians, and /or women who have sexual relations with women, gay men and/or MSN; bisexuals; and transgendered individuals.
