Abstract
South Africa is battling with substance use by learners outside and inside the school premises. There is evidence that drug availabliltiy and use in schools has increased in the past ten years. This paper is based on a study that was conducted in the Buffalo Flats of East London with male and female learners from grades 10-12.-
