Survey shows Covid-19 fatigue among South Africans

Business Day reports that the second phase of a survey conducted by the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) shows that South Africans are becoming less motivated to protect themselves against the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Prof. Carin Runciman of UJ’s Centre for Social Change, this provides an explanation for the findings of the survey and, inter alia, the trend of the recent increase in Covid-19 cases.
