Abstract

As a follow-up to the inaugural Social Security Review: Volume One, a first for South Africa and the African Continent, volume two, co-funded by the Department of Social Development, is underway and will begin what will be an annual flagship review of the state of social security in South Africa. The current volume focuses on an assessment of social security responses to COVID-19.
