Abstract

This proposal aims to request funds to host the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing in Cape Town. For the 4 years of the Commission key partners are taking turns to host this prestigious meeting. In addition, it will contribute to LEAPPTS target of Civil society and university partner collaborations. The meeting will be held in the Cape Town offices with accommodation (or flights) booked for the 30 Commissioners from around the globe. The HSRC already committed to supporting this prestigious event. Contribution to LeaPPT+S : Indicator 3.1 (The number of research-related engagements with communities and civil society forums) Indicator 3.2 (The number of solution-orientated communities of practice created or supported with the active involvement of HSRC researchers)
