Abstract

The aim of the project is to create a comprehensive, integrated regulatory framework for every facet of the Bafokeng institutional environment through the documentation, harmonisation and enhancement of existing customary laws with regulations governing the RBN institutes, within the broader context of the South African Constitution and modern law, rules, regulations and protocols. The finished product will consist of recommendations of appropriate sets of policies, protocols and regulations as well as guidelines for implementation and monitoring and evaluation. Two reports namely, one on the Customary Law of the Bafokeng and another which is an Institutional Audit of the Royal Bafokeng Institutions will be produced by the end of 2014.
