Abstract

The Project aims to generate new knowledge that will assist cities in South Africa and China to increase local economic development benefits transitioning to renewable energy. The object of the research is to understand the nexus between urban policies/local government action, renewable technology and inclusive economic development in the context of South Africa and China.
