Abstract

The objective of the AMASA workshop was to initiate dialogue among the participants how to promote effective teaching and learning of mathematics and science in Africa. To generate discussions, the delegates were given opportunity to make presentations on various aspects of education in Africa. This paper gives an overview of the presentations and discussions at the workshop.
