Abstract
The International Labour Organization (ILO) Programme on HIV & AIDS and the World of Work (ILOAIDS) have been supporting Ministries of Labour, employers' organizations, labour unions and informal sector associations since 2001 to develop, implement and monitor HIV workplace programmes (WPP). In Ghana, these initiatives have facilitated workers' access to HIV services s in private and public sectors as well as formal and informal economies. Since their implementation in Ghana, Workplace HIV and AIDS prevention, care (treatment) and support initiatives are rarely evaluated to determine what works. This report highlights practical examples of Ghana-based workplaces that achieved good outcomes through their HIV and AIDS workplace policies. This report further assesses which conducive work-related factors contributed to achievement of these good outcomes in Ghana.-
