Abstract

The study includes an analysis of challenges that the IJS has faced, and expects to face in its future execution of its mandate. This analysis will lead to the drafting of recommendations that may enhance the IJS's ability to fulfil its mandate and will contribute to the strategic planning of the organisation within its wider context. The recommendations will highlight components and areas in the IJS that need short-term or medium term attention, with indications of the nature of the changes, without prescribing what type of solution should be selected.
