Abstract

This report highlights the findings for Quarter 17 during which a total of 951 respondents were interviewed. The data have been weighted to represent the adult population of South Africa in relation to all key demographics and across all nine provinces and areas (metropolitan, small urban, rural). The issues covered in this report are awareness of the main role and function of the Department of Correctional Services, ratings of the various tasks performed by the DCS and responsibilities around sentenced individuals.
