Abstract
According to the Lesotho Demographic and Health Survey (DHS, 2004), the national average HIV prevalence (age 15-49) for Lesotho is 23.3%, with the highest prevalence in districts closest to Maseru (Lesotho DHS, 2004). There has been a steady increase in uptake of HTC since 2004, in part resulting from the major 'Know Your Status' campaign. By the end of 2008, about 28% of the population knew their HIV status.-
