Abstract
Evaluate and strengthen a participatory crime prevention initiative between local law enforcement agencies the public transport sector and informal crime prevention groups in the Warwick Avenue triangle in Durban. More, specifically this study presents the results of a qualitative study on victim's perceptions. It presents a picture of police service delivery and help received by victims of personal crimes committed in the WAT and the CBD and adjacent areas or victims traveling by means of public transport to or from the area. The victims were asked to express their views on their experiences and to assess the help they had received.-
