Abstract
This report seeks to analyse findings from the Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) held with participants from various locations in KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and Gauteng. Among other things, the FGDs sought to understand and examine the attitudes of participants towards the consumption of fruits and vegetables as well as their knowledge of the health benefits of consuming these commodities, particularly with regards to preventing Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). The FGDs were subdivided by gender to capture the unique attitudes of men and women, and to allow each group to express themselves freely without censorship.-
