Abstract

The study established the baseline status of institutions that will be supported by the SESD programme, namely the national Department of Education FET Directorate, provincial FET Directorates and designated colleges in the provinces of KwaZulu Natal, North West and Western Cape, as well as the SAQA Southern Regional Office. The study was designated to take into account of the influence of contextual factors within the current phase of policy implementation.
