Abstract
This study reports on the evaluation conducted by HSRC, ESSD Research Programme on one of the DST intervention projects, the DST/Thuthuka Mathematics and Science Development Camps, in the report referred too as "camps". The project is a major initiative of the DST to identify and nurture talent and potential of especially the historically disadvantaged learners in mathematics and science. Following in the report is a description of the camp interventions, the research objectives of this strategy, key research questions and terms of reference.-
